One and a half years and I'm 40. To be my midlife, I decided - after long and careful reading - now already to buy a new car. I decided not to worry about the "running costs". So what, ride should be an experience, not a cold calculation. I wanted sportiness, style, luxury and a bit unusual (yet that midlife ?!).
It was a Jaguar XJ6 in 1995. A X300 with the 4-liter engine, with 106.000km on the clock. Is a gentleman from Berg en Dal been, him, as I have been told, little rode. I was therefore advised to ride in the car quiet again ...
I've done the last 2000km. And am seriously in love. He drives smoothly ... I compare it with the comfort Citroen CX, without it makes me seasick. The car can quickly (my son loves the sport mode ...), but does not encourage speeding. Just nice and quiet acceleration and enjoy the flexibility.
The car is now in the garage. The perfectionist in me a list drawn up for improvement. I want to have this car include completely beautiful. Everything that is done, to work for the ultimate pleasure.
